As winter's icy grip begins to fade,
And springtime's breath draws ever near,
The second solar term of rain water is made,
As nature's beauty begins to reappear.
The skies above are filled with mist and rain,
As droplets fall upon the earth below,
Reviving dormant life once again,
And bringing new growth to nature's show.
The air is filled with sounds of rushing streams,
As melting snow begins to flow,
And birds return to sing their joyful themes,
As new life blooms and begins to grow.
The earth is cleansed, refreshed, and new,
As rain water falls from above,
A symbol of the cycle of life, so true,
As nature's beauty is once again in love.
So let us welcome this new solar term,
With open hearts and open minds,
And let us celebrate the beauty that will firm,
As the world around us transforms and unwinds.
