The Confucius Institute and Gonzaga University co-hosted a program on AP Chinese teaching Nov. 16 in Spokane. Teachers Qingqing Ji and Jane Golder shared what they learned from Professor Honggang Jin’s AP Chinese Workshop, organized by the East Asia Center at the University of Washington. Qingqing Ji demonstrated a few of her favorite language activities that she has used successfully in her classrooms at St. George School in Spokane. Jane Golder also shared some task-based activity ideas that she learned from Gonzaga University STARTALK Program led by Gonzaga Chinese instructor Bin Crow.
