Family Of Six Treasures (10)

Family Of Six Treasures (10)

The only one who was aware that Professor Li came downstairs was Amy's little girl baby, who was sure she had found a wonderful treasure when she spotted her grandfather. "Gung Gung! Bah Bah! Hug Hug!” She wanted to be picked up and held by her grandfather.

He complied, kissing her adorable smooth babyface. Holding her closely, he inhaled her milky-sweet aroma. The baby was thrilled to be kissed and sniffed by her "Gung Gung." She giggled and gurgled her approval.

"Too bad this cute little one is of mixed heritage," her grandpa thought with regret.

At this time, he heard the noise of a motorcycle approaching closer and closer.

“Vroom! Vroom! Vroom!” Professor Li peered out of the kitchen window just in time to see a shiny new motorcycle stopped in his driveway.

A young man garbed in black, black jacket, tight black pants bounded off the bike. His hair was spiked and colored bright red and apple green. It must spray with glue. His original hair color might not be visible, but there was no mistaking that this was a Caucasian. Even more peculiar, a long earring dangled from one ear. When he jumped off the bike, the earring swung back and forth wildly.

The man turned and, with two hands, helped the girl who was seated on the back, off the motorcycle. She was also wearing a black leather outfit, jacket, and tight pants that matched his. The two kissed a passionate joining of feverish lips. The mate to his earring swayed merrily from one of her ears. There was a stud in her other ear. The one pair of earrings these two wore reflected the bright May sunshine, shimmering and radiating light.

Both were wearing black leather gloves, with the fingers cut off. Two pairs of cut-off fingered gloves, one with ten white fingers and the other ten yellow fingers. All 20 of them poking through their gloves. They looked conspicuous, very conspicuous. Professor Li was scrutinizing this pair. Aloud, his voice full of curiosity, he said to himself, "Why are these two strangers making an exhibition of themselves on my driveway? Let them go to their own driveway for their hunky punky.”

Suddenly his youngest daughter let out an ear-piercing shriek. She flung her spoon from the right hand to the floor.

“Thunk.” “Thunk." sounded the book as it landed next to the spoon. Fran was only a flash of fast-moving flesh and clothing as she raced outside, past her father's eyes. However, the words of her shrill scream lingered in the kitchen long after she was gone.

"Chuck. Chuck Carlson!"

Somehow, Mrs. Li and Amy slipped past Professor Li without seeing them and followed Fran outside.

They were also very excited.

Everyone gathered in a semi-circle around the young Caucasian. Even Diana, Elaine, and Fran managed to get past the professor unseen. Each was holding a pen and paper, all jabbing and shouting a jumble of meaningless words.

“Autograph.”

“Chuck. Sign here. With love.”

“Autograph.”

The bodies entwined at the end of his driveway have been interrupted, forced apart. Quickly, the Caucasian signed his name.

“For Diana, Love Chuck Carlson.”

“To Elaine from Chuck.”

“Good luck Fran. Chuck Carlson.”

Doors opened up and down the street. Females in all shapes and sizes came from down the block, around the corner, every house seemed. All were converging on the professor's driveway. All wanted a Chuck Carlson autograph. They pulled at his clothes, pushed the motorcycle, tugged at his spiky hair. The young man was getting visibly upset. The shrill screams of young girls' voices continued, adding to the commotion. He glanced around apprehensively, looking for a way out.

The entire scene was too much for him. Run for his life! He pushed his way through the swarming, buzzing girls, climbing onto his motorcycle, and jumped up to start it.

"Vroom! Vroom! Vroom!” Before anyone realized it, Chuck Carlson's motorcycle roared out of the development, leaving behind only a cloud of black smoke and a gaggle of yelling and screaming girls in Professor Li's driveway. The white young man ran like a dog without a home and disappeared like a fish, just escaped from a fishing net.

The girls were yelling and carrying on for a very long period. Finally, the group dispersed itself, a few at a time going towards their homes, still excited, talking non-stop about their recent encounter.

Now, let's see. There was still one young Asian girl standing at the end of the driveway. She stood there wholly preoccupied, holding onto her guitar. It was Celia, the Li's Number Three Daughter.

Suddenly, she felt her father's eyes staring at her fiercely, his face dark with anger. She was so startled that she ran into the house and up to her room. The Number Three daughter slammed shut her bedroom door and locked herself inside.

Celia lay on her bed. She looked around the room at the famed singer's life-sized posters in many different poses and hair colors, which decorated her walls. Her thoughts turned to Chuck Carlson and his loving kisses.
